Kara member Kang Ji Young's Theme Song "Rainbow Rose" for New Drama Released

On September 19, Kara member Kang Ji Young’s song “Rainbow Rose,” which is the theme song for the drama, was released on major online music sites.  “Rainbow Rose” is a cheerful dance song produced by Casker member Lee Joon Oh.

The drama “Rainbow Rose” follows the ups and downs of students from different countries living in a boarding house in Korea.

Kang Ji Young plays the role of Yuri who is the daughter of the owner of the boarding house.  Supernova member Park Geon Il plays the role of Yuichi who is a study abroad student from Japan.  In the drama, the two characters eventually fall in love.  Also starring in the drama is Japan’s top teenage model Mizusawa Erena, Korean actor Lee Sang Yeob (currently acting in KBS drama “Nice Guy” with Song Joong Ki, Moon Chae Won, and Park Si Yeon), and Julien Kang (partnered with Yoon Se Ah in MBC reality/variety program “We Got Married”).

Kang Ji Young was also cast in sequel drama “IRIS 2.”
