Wonder Girls Join “Best Girl Groups of All Time” List by Us Weekly
The Wonder Girls were included in the “Best Girl Groups of All Time” list put together by entertainment magazine, Us Weekly.
The U.S.-based magazine ranked the Wonder Girls #25 overall, under the following description:
“The South Korean girl-group formed by Yubin, Yeeun, Sunye, Sohee and Hyelim formed in 2007 and soon released their debut single, ‘Irony.’ Other singles include “Tell Me” and “This Fool.” Throughout the 2000s, the group suffered many member rotations, though they are the first Korean group to ever enter the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.”
The list included other prominent girl groups through the years, including En Vogue, The Supremes, Pussycat Dolls, Sal-n-Pepa, TLC, and Destiny’s Child.
But the group that topped ‘em all? None other than the Spice Girls.
