Vote for Your Favorite Asian Artist at the MTV European Music Awards!

The MTV European Music Awards (EMA) is happening this November!

For the second time in a row, the MTV EMA has included the “World Wide Act” category which includes a roster of foreign artists around the world.

This year, there will be three steps in seeing your favorite artist battle it out for the “World Wide Act” category.  The first is by voting for the “Best Asia Act” from September 17 to October 14. Vying for the title in this category are Super Junior (representing Korea), Han Geng (representing China), boy band, EXILE (representing Japan) and solo singer Yuna (representing Malaysia).

On October 15, MTV will release the results for the winner of the “Best Asia Act.” Viewers will vote once again this time between the “Best Asia Act” and the “Best Australia/ New Zealand Act.” The winner of this round will represent Asia Pacific for the “Worldwide Act” category at the 2012 MTV EMA and will go against various foreign acts across the globe for the title.

You can support your favorite artist by voting on MTV’s website. Voting for the Asia Pacific representative ends October 14.  

The MTV EMAs will be broadcasted on November 12 in Frankfurt, Germany. It was previously reported that PSY’s “Gangnam Style” has been nominated for the “Best Video” category. To know more about the EMA or to check for updates, visit the EMA Facebook page and follow them on Twitter.
