Taeyang's Top Five Collaborations with Big Bang Members and YG Artists

Big Bang member Taeyang has been hinting that a solo album is in the works for over a year now. On September 25, Taeyang along with Daesung appeared on a question and answer segment of G-Dragon’s GD Friends Live Worldwide concert which was live-streamed on Naver Music and said that he is currently working on his solo album. But in a December 2011 interview, he said that his solo album would be released in 2012.

So, it is still unclear whether Taeyang’s solo comeback will be in 2012. But, just hearing the confirmation that a comeback is in the works is good news and heightens anticipation for his next solo effort. In 2008, Taeyang released a mini album “Hot” and hot track “Only Look At Me” was one of the top songs of the summer (along with other 2008 summer hits such as Lee Hyori’s “U Go Girl,” Jewelry’s “One More Time,” Wonder Girls’ “So Hot,” and SHINee’s “Noona You’re So Pretty”).

In 2010, Taeyang released a full album “Solar” which featured 11 tracks on the regular edition and 12 tracks on the deluxe edition, and features Taeyang co-writing the music on most of the tracks as well as giving his input on the sound and direction of the album.

Will Taeyang’s next effort to be a mini album like G-Dragon’s and heavy on the collaborations?
