PSY Meets and Dances with Google Chairman Eric Schmidt

PSY and Google Inc. Chairman Eric Schmidt dance the horse dance of his viral international single “Gangnam Style.”

On September 27, Google Inc. Chairman Eric Schmidt, along with Android developer Andy Rubin, visited South Korea to meet with Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Co. who are the leading makers of Android-based phones as well as to introduce Google’s Nexus 7 tablet computer to the South Korean market. 

At a press conference, Google Inc. Chairman Eric Schmidt talked about his plans to meet with the Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Co. and how PSY’s worldwide success with “Gangnam Style” was a leading example of how YouTube was more than just a launching platform for unsigned artists. 

Google Korea said that Schmidt had asked to meet with PSY, and PSY talked with Schmidt and even taught him the horse dance of “Gangnam Style.” 

PSY also tweeted: “How the world did I meet and have fun with the chairman of GOOGLE!??” and posted a photograph of the two which is the featured photograph above.
