T-ara Visits Korean School in Malaysia and Makes Surprise Donation
The girls of T-ara made a surprise visit to a Korean school in Malaysia prior to their showcase. They donated textbooks, as well as a portion of their profits from their showcase, to the school that lacked the proper support it needed to run. The girls left a supportive message to the students, stating, “Don’t lose your pride in being Korean and grow up proudly.” T-ara continued, “We will go and try our best to spread K-Pop all over the world. In a small effort to help, T-ara also promised to donate to the Malaysian Korean school every year.
Meanwhile, T-ara arrived in Malaysia on October 2 for their showcase and was greeted by 2,500 fans at the airport. A day later, they performed before a sold-out crowd of more than 4,300 fans at a showcase hall in Kuala Lumpur. They flew to Thailand to perform at the mnet’s “M!Countdown Smile Thailand” special yesterday and will be returning to Korea today.
