JYP Entertainment Adds Actor Management Branch

JYP Entertainment decided to branch out to actor management and recruited several actors including Choi Woo Sik. JYP Entertainment announced, “One of the officials at JYPE have been interested in Choi Woo Sik since his debut. With the company’s new branch, we decided to recruit him because we saw potential in his stable acting, fluent English, and many other aspects.” 

Choi Woo Sik made his debut through MBC “The Duo” in early 2011. He gained popularity through SBS “Rooftop Prince,” playing the role of Do Chi San. Currently, Choi Woo Sik is starring in “Shut Up Family” as Yeol Woo Bong. JYP Entertainment added, “Choi Woo Sik will begin his official JYP actor career on October 4 at the red carpet event of BIFF.” 

Meanwhile, Choi Woo Sik has been casted to play the role of Yoo Joon Hyuk in upcoming movie “Secret to Greatness” starring Kim Soo Hyun and Park Eun Bin. Yoo Joon Hyuk is the younger brother of Park Eun Bin’s character in the movie. He will start filming sometime in October.
