Kara Will Be the First Female Korean Group to Perform at the Tokyo Dome

Kara made headlines today for becoming the first Korean female group to perform at the prestigious Tokyo Dome as a standalone act.

According to DSP Media on October 8, Kara will be throwing a concert at the Tokyo Dome on January 6 of next year.

The Tokyo Dome seats about 50,000 people and is often called the “dream stage” for many artists. To this day, the only Korean artists to perform in the Tokyo Dome are DBSK, Rain and Big Bang. Kara will be the first female group in Korea to perform there.

Kara will be performing at the Tokyo Dome for the first time since their debut three years ago, proving their top star status in Japan.

Kara has currently wrapped up promotions for their 5th mini album track “Pandora” and is on their “Karasia” tour at the moment.
