Jang Geun Suk's Asian Tour Attracted 115,000 Fans Already
Jang Geun Suk started “2012 Jang Guen Suk Asian Tour” on July 7 in Seoul and has been in Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka in Japan, Shanghai, China, and Taipei, Taiwan, successfully finishing 12 shows in 7 cities. Jang Geun Suk only has four more shows left in his Asian Tour, but he has already had 115,000 fans visiting him at his concert.
In Fukuoka, Jang Guen Suk sold out all of 20,000 tickets. He impressed fans with fluent Japanese and a little bit of Fukuoka dialect, too. He also prepared a night market snack truck in front of the concert venue for approximately 200 staff members, continuing the party at night after the concert. He personally thanked each and every one of the staff members.
Jang Geun Suk stated, “Last year and this year has been very meaningful, but different. Although it is under the same brand name of the ‘CRI show,’ I am conducting my tour with completely different contents. I am producing each and every show based on the things I and my fans enjoy together. This is a continuous process of coming up with new ideas and concepts. If last year’s tour was a new kind of challenge, this year was an opportunity to find new potentials in the tour.”
He added, “The scale of the tour is getting bigger and now I have more responsibilities, but I’m always grateful to have supportive staff members and fans. It drives me to do more and better. Life is not about looking up, but about moving forward and being able to look back from time to time. With such thought on my mind, I am always trying to be passionate. As I take more and more steps, I have more and more friends. I am the most thankful to have these friends with me. I only have four more shows left in this Asian tour. I will do all of my best until the end, so please support me, cheer for me, and be there with me all along.”
Jang Geun Suk’s Asian Tour will continue in Hong Kong on October 27.
