Kim Jang Hoon Shows Up for Psy's Concert and Publicly Apologizes

It seems like Kim Jang Hoon and Psy has finally reached the light at the end of a long and dark tunnel. Both artists, who were wrapped around rumors of discord and even suicide, have finally reconciled. Read about the full history of their discord here. 

During one of Psy’s concerts, “Night of the Stars 2012” for Mercedes Benz on October 10, Kim Jang Hoon made a surprise appearance. He stepped on stage and said, “Jae Sang, please forgive this hyung,” and “Psy placed number 1 on the Billboard chart today and will go off to the States next week. I knew today was the only day so I mustered up my courage.”

Then Psy responded, “First, I’m sorry for making this public event a personal thing,” and “And also, I apologize to all the worried fans and people who saw those news articles.”

Then, as a sign of reconciliation, Psy and Kim Jang Hoon both shared a drink of soju, love-shot style. They once again apologized to the audience.

Kim Jang Hoon continued, “Even foreign news outlets have reported on our fight. But I think tomorrow, newspapers will be writing about our reconciliation at the Mercedes Benz event,” and “I think Mercedes Benz should be thanking us for this spotlight. I think a car for each of us would suffice,” making the audience laugh.

The director of Mercedes Benz Korea added, “Just like how the name of tonight’s event is ‘Night of the Stars,’ I think two stars have met and created a happening. I’m pleased that they have shown a good stage to the customers and audience.”
