Lee Hyori and Jung Jae Hyung Say Their Last Goodbyes for

Lee Hyori and Jung Jae Hyung‘s late night music program “You and I” has come to an end and both MCs shared their goodbyes with the viewers.

On the last episode of “You and I” that aired on October 14, Lee Hyori said, “Today is a special day because we will be saying our last goodbyes.” Jung Jae Hyung added, “This was my first time as an MC of a show and in the beginning, I was a mess but I think my instincts have gotten sharper.” and “I think the guests are finally comfortable with me now,” expressing his sadness.

Jung Jae Hyung continued, “It’s sad because I feel like a space where music happened is disappearing,” and “But we will meet again someday.” Lee Hyori added, “A lot of you watched and loved our show though it airs at a late time. It’s sad that this is our last goodbye,” and “This place of communicating with musicians has been a great help to me. I think it’ll serve as a great motive for me in my future days as a singer.”

This episode feautured K. Will, Shinchirim (Yoon Jong Shin, Jo Jung Chi, Hareem), Mongoose and Thomas Cook as guests.

The SBS variety program division said, “We’re not closing this program because of low ratings but because of a new organization for the fall season.”

“You and I” was the first SBS late night program since “Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate” and received a lot of media attention for the two emcees Lee Hyori and Jung Jae Hyung, who are known to be best friends. However, the program lasted only eight months.

The last episode of “You and I” recorded 1.2%. The follow-up program has not been yet announced.
