Song Joong Ki Struggled Because He Had No Lines in

Song Joong Ki shared that having no lines and having to act through physical actions alone proved to be very uncomfortable.

A press conference for the upcoming film, “A Werewolf Boy” was held on October 15 with director Jo Sung Hee along with the cast Song Joong Ki, Park Bo Young, Jang Young Nam and Yoo Yeon Suk.

Song Joong Ki shared, “Since I had no lines, I thought it’d be very easy but actually, it was really hard,” and “Taking away lines from an actor is very uncomfortable. It’s like a soldier without a gun.”

However, he continued to say, “Walking on all fours was very uncomfortable and at some point, I thought, ‘That’s right, I have no lines. I need to act as I listen to Bo Young’s lines,'” and “I realized I was acting all by myself without listening to my co-actors. I told this to a senior actor and he said that listening to your co-actors is the basic step. This movie taught me many lessons.”

“A Werewolf Boy” is a love story between a dangerous werewolf boy (Song Joong Ki) and a lonely girl, who shut out the world (Park Bo Young). Song Joong Ki only speaks about 10 words throughout the entire film. He perfected his acting through his growling sounds and wolf-like actions.

This film is expected to hit theaters on October 31.
