HyunA's Upcoming Track "Very Hot" Is Banned By KBS and MBC

4minute HyunA‘s self-written track “Very Hot“ in her upcoming solo album has been deemed inappropriate for broadcast by both MBC and KBS.

The two broadcast channels revealed that this decision was made because the lyrics contain a specific brand name of a social networking system. In the “Very Hot” lyrics, the popular smartphone messenger application “Kakao Talk” or “Katalk” for short, appears.

HyunA’s agency responded and said that they had no plans to promote this track anyway.

However, SBS announced that “Very Hot” will be aired on broadcast since the standards are different for this channel.

HyunA wrote “Very Hot” based on her own everyday life. She worked on this track with one of her close friends, Leewon.

HyunA’s second solo mini-album “Melting” will be released on October 22.
