Hwang Jung Eum Opens Up About Her Body and Makeup

On October 22, Hwang Jung Eum appeared on the “Seo In Young’s Star Beauty Show” and said “After shooting the Mon-Tue drama ‘Golden Time’ I gained weight because of stress. I would like it if we don’t talk about my body today.”

However, she did reveal what body part she was most confident in. “Originally, the part of my body I was more confident in were my hips. Truthfully, I’m not the type that gains weight in that area. However, lately I’ve been gaining a little weight. I relieve my stress by eating. Now I hide my waist and put emphasis on my long neck. From now I will work hard to stay consistently in shape.”

She also revealed that during her time on “Golden Time” she did her own makeup. “After playing the hospital intern Kang Jae In enough times, I felt that the character didn’t need heavy makeup,” she explained.

As for her own makeup ritual, “It takes me five minutes to put on my make up every morning. After putting on sunscreen and foundation I put on a little bit of tint on my lips.”
