MBLAQ's Lee Joon's "We Got Married" Wife Oh Yeon Seo Reveals That She Failed 300 Auditions the Past 10 Years
Actress Oh Yeon Seo, well known as MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon‘s wife on “We Got Married,” confessed that she lead the past 10 years auditioning and failing.
On October 25, she made a guest appearance on tvN’s “Taxi.” She received much fame nationally for playing the character Mal Sook in KBS’s hit weekend drama “You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly.”
Through the broadcast, she explained, “For the past decade, I auditioned 300 times and failed. But what’s harder than auditioning hundreds of times is failing after having a taste of fame.”
She went on, “Even though I auditioned the first and second rounds for ‘You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly,’ I didn’t receive a call about the results for the casting so I asked the producer in charge for another chance. I had the chance to meet up with the director and told him all of my strengths after another chance and in the end, I was casted as the character Mal Sook.”
She also mentioned, “I’ve never rested more than 6 months. It was sad because I didn’t become popular, but I would have been sadder if I didn’t stay in this line of work. I still have a lot to learn.”
