Actor Cha Seung Won’s Son Debuts as a Professional Gamer

Actor Cha Seung Won’s son Cha Noah (24) has debuted as a professional gamer.

On October 16, LG-IM Professional Game Team released the news that “Livy” Cha Noah has been accepted into the team as “Corn Salad” Lee Sang Jung’s replacement player for the League of Legends. On October 22, it was confirmed that Cha Noah is indeed the actor Cha Seung Won’s son.

Even before this confirmation, there was a strong suspicion that Cha Noah is this famous actor’s son. His age and looks were a dead giveaway.  At the IPL5 League of Legends Korean representative tryout on October 21, an official group photo was taken. When this picture, which included Cha Noah, was released, the rumour was confirmed.

Cha Seung Won is a first generation Korean fashion model and currently considered to be one of the most handsome middle-aged actors. As his son, Cha Noah’s good looks are clearly from his father. It is still unclear if Cha Seung Won will be attending his son’s games.

Meanwhile, Cha Seung Won is currently in Japan working the play “Bring Me My Chariot of Fire,” which is to be directed by Japanese director Jung Eui Shin. This play is to start early November in Japan. Whether it will be available in Korea is still unknown.
