JYJ Fans Protest Against Actress Jang Mi In Ae's Casting for

After actress Jang Mi In Ae had been cast for the upcoming, “I Miss You,” netizens have been protesting for her to be dropped from the drama.

Jang Mi In Ae is currently in the same agency as JYJ, C-JeS Entertainment. She was cast to play the role of Kim Eun Joo, who has a one-sided love with Han Jung Woo (played by Park Yoo Chun). Her character was set to complicate things between Park Yoo Chun and Yoon Eun Hye‘s love line.

However, after news of Jang Mi In Ae’s casting had been confirmed, netizens have been hotly debating over the decision. JYJ fans have especially voiced their opinions on this matter, saying that Jang Mi In Ae should step down from the drama. They expressed their dislike by saying, “JYJ’s agency C-JeS Entertainment is just trying to make a ‘combination sale’ by squeezing her in along Yoochun,” or “They’re just trying to make Jang Mi In Ae look good,” and more.

Having more than one actor or actress from the same agency is not uncommon in the K-Drama industry. Netizens seem to always be divided on whether this is a “combination sale” or a reasonable casting method.

However, it wouldn’t be fair to call it a “combination sale” if the actor or actress is right for the character. Furthermore, most actors or actresses need to go through auditions to get their parts.

It seems like the immense fandom of JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun is stirring up quite some commotion. The drama hasn’t yet started but the drama’s homepage as well as numerous online community forums and drama forums have been filled with netizen’s protests against Jang Mi In Ae’s casting.

However, since the press conference is only days away and the pilot episode will air in just a week, it doesn’t seem like the casting will change for now.

Hopefully, netizens and JYJ fans will quiet down on this matter so that the drama can receive its proper spotlight and the actors can focus on their acting.
