Han Ga In: "I Want a Son Just like Yeon Jung Hoon"

Han Ga In participated in “Korean Festival 2012” in Singapore and talked about future family plans with local media, Razor TV. She stated, “It’s been a while since I got married. I think it’s time for us to start planning to have children.”

She explained, “In the past, I had this obsession about having plans and following through, but now I’m more relaxed. Since I got married very young, I’m still a bit young. There’s no immediate plan like ‘I’m going to have a child next year.’ I’m not worried or rushed. It could happen within several years. There’s some room to think about this.” She added the specifics of her family planning, “I prefer sons while Yeon Jung Hoon prefers daughters. He says he wants a daughter who looks like me, and I want a son who looks like his father. I think one son and one daughter would be ideal.” 

During this interview, Han Ga In talked about her husband, Yeon Jung Hoon as well. She said, “Time flies by. It’ll be our 10th year together as a couple next year. I’m so thankful that he’s stayed with me for all this time. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart. He’s my best friend, whom I’ve spent such a long time with. So I get to talk about anything and everything. He’s the one who calms me down emotionally.” 

She was also asked if there is any future plans regarding the celebrity couple’s co-starring in a drama or movie. She responded, “I don’t think it should happen. I feel like it’d be uncomfortable to watch. It would be so different from our real lives that even if I were to tell myself that we are only playing the characters, it would still be weird.” 

Moreover, the reporter asked if Han Ga In really keeps a lot of photos of G-Dragon on her cellphone as reported. She seemed a little bit embarrassed but soon confessed that it is true. She commented, “It’s been reported and published too many times. I’m really cautious to say that I like him now. So I’m just watching him from far as a fan.” When the reporter asked if Yeon Jung Hoon ever got jealous over G-Dragon, Han Ga In explained, “He’s a big fan of Big Bang as much as I am, if not more. I like him not as a man, but as a very talented artist. I think Yeon Jung Hoon feels the same way about G-Dragon, so we enjoy his music and performance together.” 

Meanwhile, Han Ga In and Yeon Jung Hoon got married in April 2005, a year after announcing their relationship publicly.
