Too Much Leeteuk? Ratings for “Strong Heart” Drop

It’s been reported that SBS’s “Strong Heart” suffered from a big drop in ratings last night. According to AGB Nielsen, “Strong Heart” recorded 6.8% for last night’s episode, a 2.0% drop from the episode before. Meanwhile, its competitor KBS’s “Win Win” rated 8.9%, a 2.2% jump from last week’s episode.

For the past two weeks, “Strong Heart” aired a two-episode “Good-bye Leeteuk Special” following his enlistment. Guests for this special episode included Lee Jung Hyun, Yunho, Changmin, Lee Ki Chan, Yesung, Jonghyun, Taemin, Sangchu, Park Min Ji, YoonA, and Shorry. Leeteuk’s mother and sister also made surprise appearances.  During the episode, the panel and Leeteuk reminisced and shared stories about the singer.

It’s already been three weeks since Leeteuk left for his mandatory enlistment, and the fact that “Strong Heart” was still airing his goodbye special must have tired many viewers. Following the broadcast, many netizens commented, “More Leeteuk?” “Shame on ‘Strong Heart’ for milking Leeteuk stories long enough,” “We already said our goodbyes, can we move on?” “One episode was enough,” and more.
