Super Junior's K.R.Y. Kicks Off Winter Concert Tour in Japan

Super Junior’s ballad subunit K.R.Y. (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yeseung) kicked off their winter concert tour in Yokohama, Japan.

From November 19 to 21 at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall, 15,000 fans gathered for the “Super Junior – K.R.Y. Special Winter Concert 2012.”

K.R.Y. will be performing in Korea, Japan, and Thailand for their special concert tour. For Japanese fans it’s been two years since the subunit has had a concert in Japan. Over 50,000 fans applied for the tickets but the lucky 15,000 bought out the tickets in just three seconds when it was sold on October 27.

During the concert the group performed their songs, “From You,” “SKY,” “Loving You,” and other select works from OST albums. The members also gave solo performances for a total of 22 performances. All the performances were powerful in the typical Super Junior manner, and the combination of the group’s vocals and the instrumental of a live band created an unforgettable and moving experience.

The group also sang Christmas songs such as “Silent Night” and “Last Christmas,” as well as and Yamashita Tatsuro’s “Christmas Eve.” For their Japanese audience they also sang EXILE’s “Believe” and Hitoto Yo’s “Hanamitsuki.”

In addition, the group announced that on January 23 of next year they will release a new Japanese single called “Promise You.”

K.R.Y. will perform at Kobe World Memorial Hall on December 22 to 24, and then on January 22 to 25 they will perform in Budokan Arena.
