Comedian Yoo Jae Suk Voted "Greatest Celebrity Star" over Yuna Kim and PSY

Comedian Yoo Jae Suk recently won the majority of votes from an online poll for the title of “Greatest Celebrity Star”. 

The results of the poll were published on November 27, after the poll had gone on from November 6 to November 26. The poll had 464 participants, who were asked to pick the most popular and successful star out of the group of individuals that were listed. The results were surprising considering the success some of the individuals for pick have enjoyed abroad. Yoo Jae Suk won with 32% of the vote (148 votes),Olympic Champion Yuna Kim ranked second with 25% of the votes (188 votes), soccer player Park Jisung ranked third with 11% of the vote. Singer PSY and swimmer Park Tae Wan  tied for fourth place with 10% of the vote each. 

Yoo Jae Suk’s tremendous success and popularity can be attributed to hit entertainment programs he has hosted and emceed, to list a few: MBC‘s “Come to Play”, SBS‘s “Good Sunday: Running Man” and KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together 3“.

The pie chart lists the following stars in the order they appear with the pie chart color assigned to them: figure skater Yuna Kim, swimmer Park Tae Wan, MC Yoo Jae Suk,  baseball player Park Chan Ho, soccer player Park Jisung, actress Kim Tae Hee, actor Lee Byung Hun, singer PSY, golfer Choi Kyung Joo and weight lifter Jang Mi Ran.
