Lee Ha Yi Gets Mentioned by CNN and The Wall Street Journal
Rookie artist Lee Ha Yi has been turning the heads of news reporting entities abroad, including CNN and The Wall Street Journal.
On November 28, CNN Newsroom International’s Susanne Malveaux did a brief report about 16-year-old Lee Ha Yi, discussing the success of her title track “1,2,3,4” currently at the number 1 spot on K-Pop music charts, airing an entire minute of her music video and mentioned her as the winner of K-Pop Star. Lee Ha Yi is actually the runner-up to Park Ji Min who is the winner of K-Pop Star season 1. Both landed contracts with one of the “Big 3” (SM, JYP and YG).
In addition, Lee Ha Yi has also been credited for her unique, souful voice by the Wall Street Journal, who called her “The Korean Adele” and Billboard, who gave her the nickname, “Monster Rookie.”
To have attained such global recognition so early in her career establishes Lee Ha Yi as a rookie singer who shows great promise and raises the esteem of K-Pop Star Audition as possibly the best screening and recruitment program for the next K-Pop Idol.
