4minute Contributes to "School 2013" OST

Girl group 4minute is set to sing for the soundtrack of just-premiered drama “School 2013.” According to reports in local news agencies, 4minute contributes the track “Welcome to School” for the first soundtrack release of the KBS drama.

“Welcome to School” is described as a unique and stylish dance track, characterized by a powerful drum sound and heavy guitar riffs. Produced by the songwriting team of Lee Sang Yeol and Baek Geun Chul, the song speaks of the challenges that the youth face in school, like bullying, suicide and violence. It likewise sheds light on parents, teachers and other adults on the feelings of the young ones, and will add to the sentiments expressed in the drama.

“It talks of despairing situations, but within the song can be found a shimmering hope,” a statement from the producers said.

The track features 4minute’s distinctive vocal style, along with HyunA‘s rap. “Welcome to School” is released through online music sites.
