Kim Hyun Joong Secretly Donates 50 Million Won to the Red Cross

The Korean Red Cross received an anonymous donation of 50 million won (about 50,000 USD) from a celebrity and afterwards, the organization later revealed that the donor was Kim Hyun Joong.

Sources said, “We heard that Kim Hyun Joong made an anonymous donation to the Korean Red Cross and asked them to use the money to help out those who are in need.”

The Korean Red Cross spoke, “On December 3, a famous celebrity’s rep came to us and donated the 50 million won.” They also said, “He didn’t want his name to be known.”

Kim Hyun Joong’s agency Key East said, “We didn’t know this either,” and “Kim Hyun Joong’s manager did not check in with us either.”

Kim Hyun Joong also donated 50 million won to the Korean Red Cross last year without the agency knowing.
