Kwanghee Worried He’s Running Into a Rut in the Variety World

If we, as in the general public, have to pick a “variety idol” that stood out this year, ZE:A’s Kwanghee is it. Already in his third year in the entertainment industry, Kwanghee has firmly established himself in the variety scene appearing regularly in SBS’s “Law of the Jungle,” MBC’s “We Got Married” Season 4 and “Knee Drop Guru.”

Even with his decorated resume, Kwanghee seems worried. On November 24, he appeared on KBS’s variety talk show “Story Show- Do Dream” as a “variety idol.” He revealed that he has appeared in countless variety programs and always had to appear happy and proactive, but as he shared this, it’s apparent that he’s tired and burdened. Now that he has made rounds on many variety shows, he explains he’s running out of stories to share.

Seeing that a successful “variety idol” shared such a concern on public television received mixed reactions from the viewers. Many were understanding and shared words of support while others wondered why should he focus on variety shows if his main purpose as a singer is to bring good music to the listeners.
