CNBlue Successfully Wraps

Four member pop-rock band CNBlue successfully held their third solo concert, “Blue Night” on December 15 and 16 in Seoul. The success of the two-night performance spells an auspicious comeback for the band, who also announced a new release on January 14, 2013, also their third anniversary.

CNBlue’s “Blue Night” capped a triumphant 2012, which saw the release of their third mini-album “Ear Fun” in the first quarter, with the title track “Hey You.” Further on, 2012 also saw the acting debut of guitarist Lee Jong Hyun, who played Jang Dong Gun‘s son in SBS’s “A Gentleman’s Dignity,” and bassist Lee Jung Shin, currently a cast member on the KBS weekend drama “My Daughter Seo Young.” Drummer Kang Min Hyuk also had a successful turn as an actor, portraying Kim Nam Joo‘s younger brother on an earlier KBS weekend drama, “You Rolled in Unexpectedly.”

The band entertained an estimated audience of  8,000 fans for the two nights in Olympic Park Handball Arena with their Korean releases, a few songs from their Japanese albums, as well as Jung Yong Hwa‘s and Lee Jong Hyun’s contributions to their respective drama soundtracks.

Congratulations, CNBlue and ’till January!
