Actress Lee Min Jung Meets With a Terminally Ill Fan

On December 22, actress Lee Min Jung volunteered for the “Make a Wish Foundation” with her fan club “Yewon’s” members by making the “Wish Bears” for the terminally ill children. Lee Min Jung is currently the ambassador for this charity group. When she found out her fan club members will be volunteering, Lee Min Jung surprised everyone by showing up at the event and personally participating in making the teddy bears by hand.

In addition, Lee Min Jung also met with a 17-year-old Byun Yong Joon, who is terminally ill with Hodgkin’s disease. He is a big fan of Lee Min Jung and wants to become an actor someday. As one of the “Wish Kid,” he made a wish to meet Lee Min Jung, and his dream came true on this day.

For over an hour, Lee Min Jung listened to Yong Joon’s story and answered his questions. She was honest, and encouraged him to work hard to become an actor. They also exchanged gifts as well.

Lee Min Jung stated, “I was happy to hear that my fans decided to volunteer at the ‘Make a Wish Foundation.’”  She also promised that she will make these events happen more often.
