Baek Ji Young Beats Girls' Generation and Ranks #1 on Various Music Charts

Baek Ji Young has been dominating various music charts with her new emotional ballad, “Hate It.”

Baek Ji Young made her come back with “Hate It” on January 3. In just 24 hours, Baek Ji Young took the #1 place on various online music charts such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Naver and Daum.

Eyes are drawn to the fact that Baek Ji Young beat Girls’ Generation‘s new track “I Got A Boy,” which went down from #1 to #2.

“Hate It” was written and composed by pianist Yiruma for Baek Ji Young, which garnered a lot of attention before the track was released. Yiruma appeared in the music video for “Hate It” as well as on music programs alongside Baek Ji Young.

“Hate It” is receiving a lot of love for Baek Ji Young’s signature voice and Yiruma’s melodious piano sounds.

Meanwhile, Baek Ji Young will be throwing a solo concert on February 16.
