Malaysian Fans Praise Jung Yong Hwa's and Nicole's Hosting Skills

CNBlue‘s Jung Yong Hwa and KARA‘s Nicole receive praise from foreign fans for more than their singing and performing skills. The two idols, who were masters of ceremonies for the first night of “The Samsung Galaxy 27th Golden Disk Awards” show, are enjoying positive feedback from Malaysian fans for their smooth and capable handling of the evening’s events.

The two-night awards show kicked off with a special performance from each of the hosts. Jung Yong Hwa performed a cover of  Maroon 5‘s hit single “Payphone” while Nicole displayed her dancing talent to Ne-yo’s “Sexy Love.”

According to reports in local news agencies, the two singers charmed the mostly Malaysian crowd gathered at Sepang F1 International Circuit with their rapport and professionalism. The event, held for the first time in Malaysia, ran for over three hours, but Jung Yong Hwa and Nicole had managed to lead the audience to enjoy the show. Nicole was singled out for her fluency in the English language, having spent time growing up in Los Angeles, USA, and retaining her facility with Korean. She is praised for transitioning smoothly in her delivery of the spiels in both languages.

Jung Yong Hwa, on the other hand, attracted positive attention for being able to liven up the crowds and his quick wit. After his less-than-stellar first attempt as an MC, the CNBlue leader has shown steady progress in hosting and has been regularly called on to be a guest MC on year-end music festivals.

Reports in Malaysian press give the two idols positive reviews, and have even named  them as two of the best MCs so far in awards shows.

The 27th Golden Disk Awards continues on with its second night, to be hosted by FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki and SISTAR‘s Dasom
