Ailee to be a VIP Guest at 2013 Grammys

Soloist Ailee will be attending the 2013 American Grammy Awards.

The 2013 Grammys will be held on February 10 in LA at the Staples Center. Ailee has been invited as a VIP guest along with popular American music acts such as Adele, Katy Perry, Rhianna, and Beyonce.

Ailee will be stepping on the red carpet with Tony Maserati, who has been nominated for “Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.” Tony Maserati has worked with big stars like Beyonce and Black Eyed Peas as a music producer.

Before the Grammy Awards, Ailee will appear and perform on Mnet America for a “Pre-Grammy Party” broadcast. There she will receive the “Mnet America Rising Star Award.” A representative of Mnet America said, “In 2013, Ailee debuted like a comet, receiving great popularity and exceeded expectations to become a K-Pop star.”

Ailee said, “When I heard that I was invited to the Grammys I was so excited I couldn’t sleep. My dream is to receive a Grammy. I may be going to the Grammys as a VIP guest now, my goal is to go on stage as a winner. I will work hard to achieve my dreams.”

“Pre-Grammy Party” will air 6:30pm local time on Mnet America.
