Choi Ye Geun Blows Away BoA, JYP, and YG with Her Rendition of "Rolling in the Deep"

On the February 4 episode of SBS “K-Pop Star 2,” the final first round of deliberations for entering into the Top 10 was held. During the final round, Choi Ye Geun known as the “genius pianist” decided to gamble and did the over-played song “Rolling in the Deep.”

Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” has been a song that many contestants have sung in all of the K-Pop audition programs. It was a gamble to choose that song because of it being sung too much. But it was also a gamble because in the last season the two strongest contestants Park Jimin and Lee Hi had made such a strong impression with the song.  

However, Choi Ye Geun received a lot of praise from the “K-Pop Star 2” judges after her performance.

BoA stated, “That was the most refreshing version of ‘Rolling in the Deep’ I have ever heard.” JYP stated, “I think you are a genius.”
