Viewers Already Pouring Out Positive Reviews of “That Winter, the Wind Blows” & “Iris 2”

One of the most highly anticipated nights of 2013 thus far has finally arrived: the broadcast of the pilot episodes of SBS‘s “That Winter, the Wind Blows” and KBS‘s “Iris 2.”

On February 13, the pilot episodes of “That Winter, the Wind Blows” and “Iris 2” have aired, which is already raking in tons of positive reviews.

Viewers are highly praising “That Winter, the Wind Blows” for the casts’ incredible acting, the detailed character descriptions and the breathtaking cinematography.

Two episodes of “That Winter, the Wind Blows” were aired on the same night. The first episode showed the detailed and complex backgrounds of the characters. Viewers were left amazed by Jo In Sung‘s intense action scenes and Song Hye Gyo‘s heart-breaking emotional scenes. The second episode showed the first encounter between the main characters and kicked off the official plot line.

After the broadcast was over, various SNS (social networking systems) and drama-related forums exploded with praise for the drama, especially for the incredibly well-rounded cast of hot stars, fresh faces and veteran actors.

The pilot episode of “Iris 2,” which also aired on February 13, also earned high acclaim from viewers.

While the drama was airing and even after the episode was over, viewers and netizens continued to post their positive reviews on their personal SNS accounts and also the KBS official website. They made comments such as, “My suspense would not go down all throughout the episode,” “This is making me think of ‘Iris 1‘ all over again,” “The scale is big, flashy and cool.”

It seems that the viewers were pleased with the tight story line of “Iris 2” and it’s consistency and reference to “Iris 1.” Just as anticipated, viewers were amazed by the high-quality action scenes as well. Viewers also commented on the great cast, which includes Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Bum Soo, Lee Joon, Lim Soo Hyang and Yoon Doo Joon.

The next episodes of “That Winter, the Wind Blows” and “Iris 2” will air on February 14.
