2PM Shoots to Oricon No. 1 Only After a Day of Release
“Beastly idols” 2PM are making their mark in Japan. The all-male group clinched the top spot of Japan’s Oricon Chart only a day after the release of their album “Legend of 2PM.” Member Junho celebrated the victory on his personal Twitter, saying “‘Legend of 2PM’ Oricon Chart No. 1! I got four of my songs in this album.”
The album is their second released in Japan, following “Republic of 2PM,” which also ranked as one of the best-selling new artist releases in Japan in 2011. In between, the group released a single, “Masquerade” in 2012.
Meanwhile, 2PM members Junho, Jun.K, Taecyeon, Nichkhun, Wooyoung and Chansung were in Japan on February 13 and 14 to meet their fans and celebrate the release of “Legend of 2PM” with Arena Tour shows.
