Super Junior’s Sungmin Cast in Japanese Musical

Super Junior’s Sungmin has been cast in the Japanese musical “Summer Snow.”

A representative of SM Entertainment said on March 19, “Sungmin has been cast in a leading role for the Japanese musical ‘Summer Snow’.”

“Summer Snow” is based on the popular Japanese drama of the same name. The drama is about a responsible young man and a young woman who has a restricting illness. The drama was very popular and won awards when it aired in 2000. Now Sungmin will play a lead character in the musical adaptation.

Sunmin and Super Junior have high popularity in Japan, and with his previous experience in other musicals such as “Jack the Ripper” and “Hong Gil Dong“, Sungmin is sure to do well in the Japanese musical.

“Summer Snow” will play for audiences in Osaka in April and then move to Tokyo in May.
