G-Dragon's Upcoming Solo Album Is Almost Done

On March 21, G-Dragon had a press conference in Seoul announcing the official start of “2013 G-Dragon World Tour: One of A Kind.” During the press conference, G-Dragon talked about his upcoming solo album briefly.

He stated, “The album is coming alone very well. In my personal opinion, it’s about 70-80% ready. I started working on this album since last year. So there was that timing issue. I worked on that and all other aspects of the album and it ended up taking so long. We’ve settled on when to release my next solo album, but I can’t tell yet. I’ll reveal new songs through my tour and will try my best to come back with new songs as soon as possible.”

G-Dragon also commented on the fact that his solo world tour almost immediately follows Big Bang’s world tour concerts. He said with a big smile on his face, “Since it hasn’t been that long since Big Bang’s world tour ended, so I’m a little tired both physically and emotionally. But I’ve found another hope. In my personal opinion, I think I could be upgraded. My upcoming album will also benefit from this tour.”

G-Dragon will begin his “2013 G-Dragon World Tour: One of A Kind” in the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul on March 30 and 31. He is expected to gather approximately 550,000 people in the audience through this tour. He is scheduled to visit 13 cities in 8 countries.
