Honey Lee Is Cast for the Lead Role in Musical “Chicago”

Honey Lee is cast in another musical!

On March 25, her agency King Kong Entertainment stated, “Honey Lee has been cast as the sexy and charismatic Roxy for the musical ‘Chicago.’”

Honey Lee was previously recognized for her passion as a musical actor by participating in “Legally Blonde” and “Polaroid.” Critics are interested in how she’ll grow as a musical actor as this project requires difficult choreography. Many are anticipating that her participation will help popularize the musical in Korea.

Honey Lee shared her thoughts about getting the role. “I loved ‘Chicago’ from before and I wanted to participate in this project. Also, I’m really happy that I got to act as Roxy. It’s been awhile since I’ve participated in a musical and I’m nervous and anxious about meeting everyone through this project. I will practice really hard and make it the best musical. I will find a new Roxy so please look forward to it.”

The musical will start in Daegu and will visit Ulsan, Busan, Daejeon and Gwangju before opening in Seoul on July 6. Insooni, Choi Jung Won, Oh Jin Young and Sung Ki Yoon will also take part in the musical.

Meanwhile, Honey Lee was rumored to be dating Yoon Kye Sang because their vacation trip to Bali overlapped. She admitted to the relationship during one of her interviews.
