GI Will Be Having a Global Debut!

The new girl group GI released their third teaser of their debut single “Beatles.” The Korean media is currently dubbing GI as a “tomboy” or “boyish” girl group. GI stands for “Global Icon” and the group consists of Ha Yeon, One Cat, Eunji, I, and Aram. The five-person girl group is not going for the traditional cute or sexy concept of idol girl groups. Instead they are going for a stronger and more forceful image!

The third teaser was released around 12:00am on April 1 via GOM TV Music and YouTube’s official channel. In the clip, GI shows strong and well-coordinated choreography that is on par with male idol groups currently in the mainstream. The music video for “Beatles” will be released on April 3.
