Akdong Musician Wins SBS K-Pop Star 2!

Wow! SBS “K-Pop Star Season 2” had its final showdown today on April 7. The two remaining contestants Akdong Musician and Bang Ye Dam faced each other off. Well, congratulations to Akdong Musician because they won!

Akdong Musician and Bang Ye Dam sang two songs. For the first round song, the contestants had to sing a song that the other did during K-Pop Star Season 2. Akdong Musician sang “Mmmbob” for round 1 and “Warm Goodbye” for the second round.

After winning Lee Chan Hyuk of Akdong Musician stated, “I didn’t know we would come this far. Thank you mother and father.” The other member and sister of Akdong Musician Lee Soo Hyun stated, “I feel like we have one when we don’t belong here.”

Bang Ye Dam who won second place stated, “Even though I didn’t win, I think I did my best during the performances. I did my best so I don’t have any regrets.”
