Kara’s Goo Hara has been invited to participate in the OST for Fuji TV’s drama “Galileo.”
She will form a project group with Masaharu Fukuyama, who will take on the male lead character for the sequel of “Galileo” and who is also a singer-songwriter. Together, they will form the project group “HARA+” and their collaboration will be featured on the drama’s OST. The song’s theme will be “Charms of Love” and they’ll work on the Korean version. He will produce the song while she will lend her voice for the project.
It’s been reported that Goo Hara’s participation in the project is largely due to the drama’s airing in Korea this May. Known as the nation’s actor in Japan, Masaharu Fukuyama will be working with a foreign artist for the first time and it’s receiving much interest in his native country.
“Galileo” is based on the popular novel “Detective Galileo,” written by well-known mystery writer Keigo Higashino. The drama was a big hit when it aired in 2007 and the creators are hoping to recreate the phenomenon with a sequel and a new story. This project is receiving a lot of attention because the production has secured rights to air in many countries in Asia, North America and Europe.
The drama will make its premiere in Japan on April 15 through Fuji TV and will air its first episode in Korea on May 6 through cable channel MBC QueeN.
