Kim Dong Wan Leaves “Shinhwa Broadcast” Temporarily Due to Busy Schedule

On the most recent episode of JTBC “Shinhwa Broadcast,” only five members of Shinhwa came on the show. Jun Jin brought a life-size photo panel of Kim Dong Wan, who had to leave “Shinhwa Broadcast” temporarily due to his busy schedule, instead. Jun Jin stated, “Kim Dong Wan could not make it today due to his schedule with KBS ‘Cheer Up, Mr. Kim.'”

“Shinhwa Broadcast”s producer Yoon Hyun Joon also explained, “Because Kim Dong Wan is juggling his busy schedule between filming ‘Cheer Up, Mr. Kim’ and working on Shinhwa’s upcoming album, he couldn’t be with the rest of Shinhwa. But he will be back as soon as his drama ends.”

Currently, Kim Dong Wan is starring in KBS “Cheer Up, Mr. Kim” as main character Kim Tae Pyung, who took parentless children under his wing to take care of them like a mother while supporting them through his income as a master housemaid and janitor adored by housewives.

Netizens commented on Shinhwa’s temporary five-persons system, “I hope the other members do their best to fill Kim Dong Wan’s spot,” “I’m really intrigued to see how the other members are going to carry on ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ without Kim Dong Wan,” and “When is he coming back?”
