WHAT: Dancing 9, the ultimate global dance survival program, is looking for applicants from around the world.  The application process is now open for those interested in auditioning.  Those chosen will be flown to Korea and be provided housing for as long as they survive.  The competition will ultimately pare down the number of aspiring dancers to 18, splitting them into two teams of nine, and then choosing one team as the winner.  The winning team will receive $500,000 in value rewards, and the MVP member of the team will receive the fulfillment of a wish – such as tuition to a dance school.

WHO: Dancers of all ages from around the world may apply. All types of dance are encouraged to be submitted, including solo and duet acts.  No more than two may be featured in each video submission.

WHEN: The deadline for video applications is April 26, 2013.  Selected dancers will subsequently be notified of further instructions concerning the next in-person phase of the process, which for applicant in North America will include the U.S. auditions taking place June 1-4, 2013.

HOW: Interested dancers should go to the Dancing 9 homepage (www.dancing9.com) and follow the directions to submit a 1-2 minute audition video, either through the site or a mobile app.  Files should be .mp4, .avi, .wmv or .mov and no larger than 200MB.
