Park Bo Young Eats a Larva on “Rules of the Jungle”

On the recent episode of SBS’s “Rules of the Jungle,” which aired on April 26, the crew visited the Podocarp Forest in New Zealand.

As they moved through the forest, the guide mentioned the huhu grubs, which are the larvae form of huhu beetles. These are known to taste like peanuts. When the crew finally found the huhu grubs, the male members tried them and stated, “At first, it is so oily and rich that you can’t tell what it really tastes like. Then, after you chew for a while, it does taste a bit nutty.”

At first, actress Park Bo Young could not hide her shock, but in the end, she was able to take a bite of it.
