CNBlue's Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jung Shin Express Their Plane Phobia in a Song

CNBlue‘s charismatic frontman Jung Yong Hwa and “Untouchable” bassist Lee Jung Shin may seem invincible but they revealed a phobia of airplanes. During the fan meeting in Tokyo that doubled as the release event for CNBlue’s fifth major Japan single “Blind Love” held on April 26, the band came out with an impromptu and self-composed song which spoke of these fears.

“This ballad expresses our feelings of fear every time the plane shakes,” Lee Jung Shin said.

In the middle of the song, Jung Yong Hwa stopped for a bit and asked drummer Kang Min Hyuk to act out the phobia to the laughter of the audience.

“I think I’m a genius for making this song,” Jung Yong Hwa joked with the fans.

The title track “Blind Love” is a composition of guitarist and vocalist Lee Jong Hyun. The mini-album includes another Lee Jong Hyun composition “With Your Eyes” and Jung Yong Hwa’s “Greedy Man.”

Meanwhile, CNBlue moves forward from Japan activities to continue on to the next stops of their “Blue Moon World Tour.” The band will perform in Bangkok, Thailand on May 4.
