Comedian Jung Bum Kyun Helps Save a Man from Committing Suicide

Recently, comedian Jung Bum Kyun from “Gag Concert” and “Happy Together” helped save a man.

On April 29, Mapo City Fire Department stated, “Comedian Jung Bum Kyun helped save a man in his late 40’s from committing suicide on April 28 around 9:33PM local time.”

According to the Fire Department, this man attempted to jump from the Mapo Bridge shouting “Can’t I even commit suicide?” Many young people nearby ran to this man and pulled him off the edge of the bridge and Jung Bum Kyun was one of these courageous people.

The Fire Department stated, “Jung Bum Kyun was able to calm this man down. As soon as the Fire Department arrived at the scene, Jung Bum Kyun left quietly. When we thanked him for his great work, Jung Bum Kyun replied, ‘Anyone would have done the same.’”

Meanwhile, Mapo Fire Department is considering to appoint Jung Bum Kyun as an honorary member.
