PSY to Co-Host Canada's "MuchMusic Video Awards"

PSY continues on his promotions in North America. According to reports in local news agencies, the singer of 2012’s viral hit “Gangnam Style” is set to co-host and perform in Canada’s “MuchMusic Video Awards.” He joins American singer Demi Lovato in the performers list currently announced.

“MuchMusic Video Awards” is an annual awards show by the Canadian music channel to honor the year’s best music videos. It began in 2002, and was graced by superstars such as Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Rihanna among others over the years. 

The announcement of PSY’s hosting stint comes days before the results and awards show of the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, in which the Korean rapper-singer is nominated for six categories.

The 2013 “MuchMusic Video Awards” will be held on June 16.
