Shinhwa Sheds Tears for "Music Core" No.1 Win

Shinhwa could not hide their tears about their win, proving once again their unending popularity as a male idol group going on 15 years.

On May 25, Shinhwa won No.1 for that week for “This Love” on MBC’s “Show! Music Core.” Runner-ups were Cho Young Pil with “Bounce” , Roy Kim with “Bom Bom Bom” and 4Minute with “What’s Your Name?“

When Shinhwa was asked to say a few words about their win, Jun Jin said, “We weren’t expecting to win at all” and couldn’t hide his tears as he expressed his gratitude and emotions about their win. Minwoo said, “We want to thank our fans and the other artists who were also nominated for this award.”

In related news, other artists such as Lee Hyori, SHINee, 2PM, Secret, Lee Ki Chan, B1A4, Younha, 9 Muses, Vixx, 100%, History, LC9 and N.Sonic performed live for “Show! Music Core” as well.
