Jang Yoon Jung Opens Up About Her Mom and Brother

Trot singer Jang Yoon Jung opens up about her estranged relationship with her mother and brother. 

On June 11, SBS’s variety talk show “Hwashin” aired an episode where Jang Yoon Jung was one of the special guests. One of the emcees asked, “It’s been hard and tough for you lately, right?’

“I wonder what’s the use of admitting that it’s tough and pitiful,” Jang Yoon Jung answered. “Even though there’s a lot that I want to say, I think it’s better that I don’t say them. I think it will work out with time. Instead of trying to melt the ice in the winter with a heater, it’s better to wait for spring.”

She went on, “If I was by myself, I couldn’t have waited for spring. However, since I’m with [fiance] Do Kyung Wan, I’m able to be more stable. This [situation] made me a little more mature. I feel reassured in many ways.”

The emcees were impressed with her response and Shin Dong Yup commented, “Your endurance is uncomparable.”
