Child-Actress Kim Yoo Jung Sets Off for the U.S. to Study English

Fourteen-year-old actress Kim Yoo Jung has jetted off to the United States of America for language training. According to a report in Ilgan Sports, the young actress left Korea at the end of June to join an English camp, taking advantage of the summer vacation and her empty schedule. Her schedule has allowed her to squeeze in some short-term training.

Kim Yoo Jung’s acquaintance said, “If I was not busy with my acting career, I would have dedicated more time to study the English language more in its natural atmosphere. When I see actors advance overseas, it gives me a strong will to learn it. I am going to stay in the United States for a month, and will come back at the end of July to pick up on acting projects.”

A related source said, “As soon as the schedule is right, whether it is a drama or a film or public appearances, we will be selecting her next project when she returns. Kim Yoo Jung will concentrate on acting.”  

Kim Yoo Jung debuted in the entertainment industry in 2003 through an appearance in a commercial. She participated in various dramas before breaking through with “The Moon that Embraces the Sun.”
