Eric Nam and Son Seung Yeon Caught Up in Dating Rumor, Both Sides Deny
One of the top headlines in the Korean media today was the dating rumor between singers Eric Nam and Son Seung Yeon. However, both parties put a halt to the rumors by denying it.
Eric Nam and Son Seung Yeon are both contestants from audition programs. Eric Nam appeared on MBC’s “Birth of a Great Star” and Son Seung Yeon was the winner of Mnet’s “Voice Korea“s first season.
After the dating rumors surfaced, Son Seung Yeon’s agency commented, “We checked with Son Seung Yeon and the rumor is not true,” and “They meet up a lot and are very close but they are not dating.”
Eric Nam’s agnecy B2M Entertainment also stated, “We quickly checked with Eric Nam. He strongly denied the rumors and he is bewildered as well,” and “They are close but just as friends.”
Previously, a certain news outlet reported that Eric Nam and Son Seung Yeon were dating. It reported, “The two quickly got close due to their similar backgrounds of being on audition programs,” and “They enjoy simple dates like going to fast food restaurants and eating rice cakes together.”
Meanwhile, Son Seung Yeon will be releasing a new single, “I’m Not Crazy” on July 10. She also recently made headlines for revealing how she lost 22 pounds.
