Lee Shi Young Gives Up on AIBA Invitational Boxing Competition

On July 13, actress and amateur boxer Lee Shi Young’s agency J-Wide Company stated to Newsen, “Lee Shi Young decided to give up on the AIBA invitational competition. This was due to lack of training.”

Lee Shi Young originally planned to compete at AIBA (Amateur International Boxing Association) event, which takes place from July 15 to 20 in Jeju Island. However, due to her previous engagement to promote the film “The Webtoon: Planned Murder,” Lee Shi Young had to drop out from the competition.

The agency explained, “Lee Shi Young does not have much time left till the event, and she hasn’t had enough training. She plans to spend more time on her training for the next competition.”
